It is only appropriate to find me with an ipad in hand! It's either that, or my iphone or Macbook Pro. Some might say I would bleed "Apple." I just know that my "tech savvy ahead of his time" dad is smiling down at me from heaven.
With an M.A. in Special Education, I have 37 years in the field. I taught for 12 years in the public schools within both early childhood programs and a 0-3 Program. Twenty-four years ago I went into Private Practice with a specialty in working with non-verbal kiddos/adults with Autism, Rett Syndrome and Severe Motor Challenges. I utilize a myriad of AT and AAC tools to teach literacy/communication to those who are the most challenged.
In addition to my weekly clients, I consult to school districts, give workshops and consult around the world. I also teach graduate classes at NEIU in Technology, Curriculum Methods and Autism.
